Grow Paper Ltd was incorporated in 2020 with the vision to be the first manufacturer of eco-friendly, bio-based, non-wood sourced, sanitary paper in the Southern African Development Community.
During the past few years, the company has developed an innovative production concept, part of which is based on Sustainable Environmental Research conducted by the University of Mauritius (UoM).
The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the UoM has demonstrated the viability and economic benefits of paper pulp production from agro-wastes and mixes of Vacoas, Arundo Donax and Hemp fibres.
With our proprietary GrowPaperPulp (GPP) now perfected, Grow Paper Ltd is currently planning the construction phase of its manufacturing plant with the objective to start production in 2025.
